Hearing Aid Types & Styles

We offer a wide variety of hearing aids from the most discreet to the most powerful products suitable for all individuals, regardless of age or degree of hearing loss.

Behind The Ear (BTE)

Behind The Ear (BTE)

These hearing aids fit behind the ear and are attached to a custom mold. These are often slightly larger than the open fit models, allowing for more flexibility and accommodating more severe hearing loss. The Behind the Ear hearing aid is also available in a waterproof model.

Open Fit

Open Fit

Open fit hearing aids are a new family of Behind-The-Ear hearing aids with slim tube or receiver attached to the device and inserted down the ear canal. Because they are non-occluding, they provide a natural sound and are very comfortable. This style of hearing aid is suitable for hearing loss in the mild to severe range.

In The Ear (ITE)

In The Ear (ITE)

This style of hearing aid is molded to follow along the exterior shape of the ear and features easy-to-adjust program and volume control changes. Uses a larger style battery with accessible ergonomic controls designed for individuals with reduced dexterity.

In The Canal (ITC)

In The Canal (ITC)

This hearing aid is a slightly smaller custom product and often easy to self-adjust. This product is suitable for individuals with mild to moderate levels of hearing loss.

Completely In the Canal (CIC)

Completely In the Canal (CIC)

These hearing aids are designed to be discreet. They are custom molded to fit inside the ear canal, are usually fully automatic and use a smaller battery. They are suitable for individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss.

Invisible In the Canal (IIC)

Invisible In the Canal (IIC)

These hearing aids are the smallest custom products available. They are positioned deep in the ear canal so as to avoid the occlusion effect - a sensation similar to holding the ears closed - and offer a far more comfortable hearing experience.
